Terms of use
The house rules: what Kapiz is, what it doesn't do and how it is paid for.
Last updated · Oct. 23, 2026
01Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using Kapiz you accept these terms. If you disagree with any of them, don't use the app.
To use Kapiz you must be over 18 and have the legal capacity to accept these terms.
02What Kapiz is and is not
Kapiz is a technical analysis tool with an artificial intelligence analyst. Neither the app nor the analyst provides investment advice, portfolio management or personalised recommendations.
- Levels, setups and explanations are automatically generated technical readings, not investment advice.
- The analyst can be wrong: it may misread the chart, use incomplete or outdated data, or follow an instruction incorrectly. Check what it tells you before acting.
- Any investment decisions you make, inside or outside Kapiz, are always yours and your responsibility.
- Trading cryptocurrencies carries a high risk: their prices can move sharply in a short time and you can lose everything you invested. Kapiz does not remove that risk.
- Leveraged perpetual futures, whether on crypto, stocks or commodities, multiply both gains and losses: a small move against you can liquidate the position and take all of its margin, and the funding rate is charged or paid for as long as it stays open.
03Licence to use
You are granted a personal, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the app. It doesn't include the right to redistribute it, resell it or create derivative works, except as allowed by the licences of the open-source components it includes.
Nor may you modify the app or use it in a way that bypasses its account or subscription checks; doing so is grounds for suspending access.
04Technical requirements
To use Kapiz you need:
- A computer with macOS (Apple Silicon or Intel), 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, or Linux (AppImage).
- An internet connection: to sign in to your account, receive market data and use the analyst.
- For the analyst, an active Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT (Codex) subscription and its CLI installed on your computer, signed in.
Kapiz does not guarantee that it works on every computer or with every version of those CLIs, which change without notice. Use the free trial to check that it works on your computer before paying.
05Account and credentials
You are responsible for keeping your password and your AI provider session (Claude, Cursor or Codex) secret. Anything done from your account is considered done by you.
06Permitted use
The app is meant for technical market analysis on a practice account. You may not:
- Automate access to resell the data it shows.
- Use it to get around the limits or terms of your AI provider or of market data providers.
- Present its analyses as professional advice to third parties.
- Try to access other people's accounts or harm the service.
07Library
In the Library you can publish algorithms, indicators and strategies for other users to install. By publishing:
- You declare that what you publish is yours or that you have permission to publish it, and that it does not infringe third-party rights or contain keys, tokens or personal data.
- You remain the owner. You give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display and deliver it to other Kapiz users while it is published, and you allow them to install and use it within Kapiz.
- What others publish is not a recommendation from Kapiz or investment advice, and Kapiz does not guarantee that it works. Install and use it at your own risk.
- We may remove any publication that breaches these terms or receives well-founded reports.
If something published infringes your copyright, follow the Copyright procedure. We close the account of anyone who accumulates three valid copyright claims.
08Trading on a practice account
All trades, including those in autonomous mode, run on a simulated account. Practice results don't predict real results.
In autonomous mode the agent trades without asking for confirmation, following the guidelines, the risk per trade and the limits you set when you start it. You are responsible for that configuration and can stop it at any time. There is no guarantee that the agent will interpret or follow those guidelines without errors.
Backtests and practice account results are simulations: they do not reflect all real market conditions, such as slippage, liquidity or connection drops, and they do not predict future results.
09Webhook alerts
You can set up a run so that, every time it opens or closes a position on the practice account, Kapiz sends an alert (webhook) to the address you choose. Kapiz sends alerts, not orders.
- Kapiz does not connect to your broker or exchange, does not know their keys and does not execute real-money trades. The alert is a message with the details of a simulated trade.
- The program or service that receives the alert (the executor) is chosen, installed and configured by you. Kapiz does not provide or recommend it and is not responsible for what it does with the alert, including any real-money trades it opens or closes.
- Alerts come from the strategy and guidelines you define. A run sending an alert is not a recommendation to buy or sell.
- An alert may arrive late, at a price different from the real one, or not at all: because of network outages, your computer being off or executor errors. Kapiz does not resend it. Check the alert log and set your executor's own risk limits.
- The address, secret and message are stored only on your computer. If the message includes your executor's keys, protecting them is your responsibility.
10AI providers
The analyst runs on the CLI and subscription of Anthropic (Claude), Cursor or OpenAI (Codex), which you take out directly with them. By using them from Kapiz you agree to comply with their terms and usage policies.
Kapiz is not affiliated with those providers and is not responsible for their availability, usage limits, model changes or charges.
11Market data
Prices, candles and funding rates are requested by the app from your own computer, directly from third-party providers (currently Binance, Bybit, OKX and Coinbase). By using them through Kapiz you agree to comply with those providers' terms and to use them only where the law of your country allows.
- Kapiz does not sell, store or redistribute market data: what the plans pay for is the software.
- Kapiz is not affiliated with Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase or any other data provider. Their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
- Data is shown as received, with no guarantee that it is accurate, up to date or available. It may contain errors, delays or gaps, and the provider may limit or cut off access in your country; Kapiz is not responsible for this.
- Kapiz may change data providers or add others.
12Availability and changes
Features, shortcuts and the way the analyst works may change from one version to the next. Relevant changes are published in each version's release notes.
There may be service interruptions, for example at sign-in. The app tries to keep working on your computer in the meantime.
If Kapiz or the Pro plan stops being offered, we will tell you by email and on the website at least 30 days in advance. From that notice no new charges are made, and we refund the part of the period already paid that you do not get to use.
13Plans and payments
A new account includes a 7-day trial with everything in the Pro plan, without asking for a card. When it ends nothing is charged and the account moves to the Free plan, with the limits published in Plans and no time limit.
- The plans, their prices and what each includes are those published on the website at the time you subscribe. Prices are in US dollars; Hotmart may show them converted to your currency and add the taxes that apply in your country, and it shows you the total before you pay.
- Sales and charges are handled by Hotmart, which acts as reseller: it issues your receipt, processes the payment and applies its own purchase terms.
- The plan is activated on the Kapiz account with the same email you paid with. When it is activated we send you an email with the plan, the price, the renewal date, how to cancel and the version of these terms.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, monthly or annual, until you cancel it. You can cancel whenever you want from your Hotmart account: you keep Pro until the end of the period already paid and then stay on Free.
- You have 15 days from your first purchase to ask Hotmart for a full refund, with no reason needed. Renewals are not refunded: if you do not want to renew, cancel before the next charge date. None of this limits your right of withdrawal or any other rights the law grants you.
- If a price changes, you are notified beforehand by email and on the website, and the change does not apply to a period you have already paid for.
You also need your own Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT (for Codex) subscription, which you take out and pay for separately with them.
14Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for losses arising from using the app, from how its analyses are interpreted or from the service being unavailable.
In any case, total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Kapiz in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it.
Nothing here limits the rights that consumer protection law grants you and that cannot be waived.
15Termination
You can stop using the app whenever you like and delete your account from the app itself, or ask us through the contact page. We may also suspend access for use that breaches these terms.
16Changes to these terms
If these terms or the privacy policy change, the date above is updated and the app asks you to accept them again before continuing. If you do not accept them, you can stop using it and delete your account.
17Questions and complaints
For any question or complaint about Kapiz, write to us from the contact page or at [email protected], with your account email and what happened.
- We confirm that we received it and reply in writing within 10 business days at most.
- Anything about the charge, the receipt or a refund you can also ask Hotmart for directly, from your buyer account.
- If you are not satisfied with the answer, in Chile you can file a complaint with SERNAC (sernac.cl), or with the consumer protection authority of your country.
18Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile, and any dispute is submitted to the ordinary courts of Santiago. If you use Kapiz as a consumer, you keep the rights and the jurisdiction granted to you by consumer protection law.
